How does the procedure work?
Step 1:
We remove damaged or diseased parts of the tooth, as well as any old fillings. To prepare for the camera-based measurement, the affected teeth are powdered with a special material.
Step 2:
The measurement is taken using a small intraoral camera. The dental restoration is then carved from a ceramic block.
Step 3:
Thanks to a special light-curing effect, the new filling becomes immediately loadable. Polishing and matching the restoration to your tooth color ensure a natural appearance. The perfect bonding guarantees exceptional durability.
What can be created with this dental procedure?
Fillings (Inlays):
After removing old fillings and decayed areas, a custom-made ceramic restoration is precisely fitted into place. The entire procedure takes approximately 60 minutes, depending on the case.
Crowns:
Teeth in very poor condition can be saved with crowns, traditionally requiring lengthy treatment. With the CEREC technology, this process is completed in a single appointment, typically within one to two hours.
Ceramic Veneers:
Chipped or discolored front teeth can be beautifully restored with ceramic veneers. After reshaping the tooth, the veneer is placed. This method is completely safe, perfectly fitting, and ensures you’ll leave with a radiant smile!
